글로벌 콘텐츠 ‘점프’, ‘비밥’을 탄생시킨 연출가 최철기와 ‘심청전’이 만나다.
가장 한국적인 것을 세계적인 것으로 끌어낸 연출가 최철기가 ‘심청전’을 모티브로 영상, 무용, 드로잉이 만나는 새로운 장르를 탄생시켰다.
전 세계 남녀노소 누구와도 함께 즐길 수 있는
또 하나의 글로벌 콘텐츠 'korea 심청‘이 시작됩니다.

효녀 ‘심청’은 어려서 어머니를 여의고 눈먼 아버지 ‘심봉사’를 모시며 살았다.
그러던 어느 날,
심청은 공양미 삼백 석을 부처님께 바치면 눈을 뜰 수 있다는 이야기를 듣게 된다.
때마침 남경 상인이 풍랑이 심한 바다를 잠재우기 위해 제물을 구하고 있었다.
그 소식을 듣게 된 심청은 자신을 제물로 팔게 된다.
심청은 아버지가 눈을 뜨길 기원하며 인당수 한가운데,
몸을 던지게 되는데....

Simcheong lost her mother when she was little and took care of her blind father.
One day, she heard she could restore her father’s vision if she offered 300seoks of rice (43,200kg) to Buddha. Finally, she was sold to sailors who were looking for a sacrifice to the sea in exchange for 300seoks of rice. Wising her father to regain his vision, Simcheong plunged herself into the Indangsu sea with rough wave,,,
